Penticton Seniors’ Drop-in Center

This drop-in center located at 2965 South Main street features a large number of exciting activities. A visit to their website shows a calendar for January 2019 and well beyond that is fully loaded with healthy events such as carpet bowling, dance class, and Yoga. They also offer mentally health options such as bridge, scrabble and Mah Jong to help keep your brain busy and active. These are excellent excuses to get out of your retirement home in Penticton for a day or night out!

The drop-in center also has special events such as dinners and social dances.

South Okanagan Seniors Wellness Society

The goals of the South Okanagan Seniors Wellness Society are to “create a healthy community through providing resources and opportunities for older adults”. As such, the society provides social and recreational programs, providing opportunities to meet and socialize with new people, participate in cooking demonstrations and classes, and learning about local resources and services that can help enhance your life.
